Our chief instructor is Sensei Carlos Medina, a highly dedicated and knowledgeable instructor. He is a 5th Dan black belt and an internationally certified instructor, examiner and judge with the Japan Karate Association.
During his tournament years, Sensei Medina competed and placed on a local, regional and national level in both JKA and AAU sanctioned tournaments.
Sensei Medina is also a 2nd Dan in the traditional Japanese martial art of Hakkoryu, Jujitsu.
